#9 USAO Places Third at Texas Wesleyan Spring Invitational
WILLOW PARK, Texas – On Monday and Tuesday, the No. 9 ranked University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma men's golf team earned a third-place finish at the Texas Wesleyan Spring Invitational, highlighted by a pair of top 10 finishes from Jaeden Ellis and Jaxen Brewer.
The Texas Wesleyan Spring Invitational was competed at Squaw Creek Golf Course, and featured a 6,888-yard, par 71 layout. The Drovers completed with a three-round score of 862 (291, 290, 281).
The tournament featured a strong field of opponents, including No. 2 Oklahoma City, No. 7 Texas Wesleyan, No. 9 USAO, and RV Texas A&M – Victoria.
Jaeden Ellis led USAO with a seventh-place finish, carding a 213 (70, 76, 67), closely trailed by Jaxen Brewer in ninth with a 214 (72, 68, 74). Cooper Hardison concluded in 21st with a 217 (76, 71, 70), followed by Luca Gisler in 33rd with a 221 (73, 76, 72).
Conner Cryer concluded in 47th as he carded a 225 (78, 75, 72), and Gavin Elmore closed in 52nd with a 227 (79, 74, 74). Parker Pogue placed in 65th with a 236 (82, 81, 73).

The Drovers will return to action on April 13-14 as they compete at the Texas Wesleyan Spring Invitational at Squaw Creek Golf Course in Willow Park, Texas.
