Brewer Voted Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Year

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Wednesday afternoon, the Sooner Athletic Conference announced their golf awards and USAO hauled in a historic amount of hardware.

The women's and men's program's each produced their best seasons in program history, with the women finishing fourth at the SAC Championship, while the men placed second. Additionally, the women's team received votes in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Rating for the first time in program history, and the men climbed all the way to No. 8 in the national ratings.

JAXEN BREWER – SAC MEN'S GOLFER OF THE YEAR & ALL-CONFERENCE

Jaxen Brewer helped lead the Drovers to top three finishes in seven of their ten tournaments this season. Out of those ten tournaments, Brewer placed in the top ten on eight occasions as an individual.

He claimed his second career victory at the UC Ferguson Invitational and was awarded as the SAC Golfer of the Week following the win.

Brewer is currently ranked as the No. 16 men's golfer in the NAIA on Scoreboard.com, with a scoring average of 70.6.
