Meyer and McCain Claim Bronze at OBU All-Comers Meet
SHAWNEE, Okla. – On Friday and Saturday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma opened the outdoor track and field season at the OBU All-Comers Meet, hosted by Oklahoma Baptist University (NCAA DII).
Andries Meyer finished the 3000-meter steeplechase in third with a time of 10:17.16.
Carter McCain earned a third-place finish in the men's pole vault with a leap of 4.00 meters.
The men's 4x100 meter relay team (Tyrike Cunningham, Easton Docotorman, Daylen Huff, and Omario Johnson) placed in fifth with a time of 42.08.
Aarin Simon crossed the line in sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.37.
Omario Johnson placed 10th in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 10.71, followed by Crispin Mbii in 17th with a time of 10.85. Tyrike Cunningham placed 25th (11.08), trailed by Eaton Doctorman (39th), Hunter DeWall (42nd), Daylen Huff (43rd), and Pablo Baguena (46th).
Andries Meyer placed in 17th in the 800-meter dash with a time of 2:01.50.
In the men's shot put, Mason Potter placed in ninth with a toss of 12.41 meters, followed by Chayce Papp in 15th with a throw of 10.65 meters. In the discus throw, Potter placed 14th, trailed by Papp in 19th.
Crispin Mbii placed 20th in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 22.43, followed by Omario Johnson in 26th (22.77). Tyrike Cunningham placed in 32nd, trailed by Hunter DeWall in 37th.
