4x400 Relay Team Highlights Friends University Spring Invitational with Bronze Performance
WICHITA, Kan. – Thursday and Friday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma competed at the Friends University Spring Invitational.
The men's 4x400 meter relay team earned a third-place finish with a time of 3:28.63 (Tyrike Cunningham, Hunter DeWall, Easton Doctorman, Omario Johnson).
In the men's 100-meter dash, Omario Johnson led the way with a seventh-place finish as he crossed the finish line in 10.7 seconds, followed by Crispin Mbii in 14th (10.85) and Hunter DeWall in 51st (11.7).
In the 200-meter dash, Crispin Mbii finished in 20th with a time of 22.04, while Daylen Huff placed in 50th (23.40) and Hunter DeWall in 51st (23.46).
In the 400-meter race, Aarin Simon finished in 13th (49.80), trailed by Tyrike Cunningham in 45th (54.04) and Pablo Baguena in 52nd (56.0).
Andries Meyer finished in 10th in the mile, crossing the line in 4:10.63, along with a 13th place finish in the 5,000-meter race (17:24.47).
Carter McCain finished 11th in pole vault as he sprung 4.05 meters.
Mason Potter finished the men's discus in 14th place with a throw of 38.88 meters, trailed by Chayce Papp in 34th (27.12 meters).
Potter placed 26th in the men's shot put (11.80 meters), and Papp closed in 33rd (10.28 meters).
