Drovers Conclude Season at SAC Championship Race
BETHANY, Okla. – Saturday morning, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma women's and men's cross-country teams competed at the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship at Eldon Lyon Park in Bethany, Okla.
The men's team finished in ninth-place as a team, and had six individuals competing in the 8-kilometer race, led by Aarin Simon in 48th place with a time of 32:39.00, followed by Tyrike Cunningham in 55th34:51.30. Ryan Joseph concluded in 58th with a time of 35:18.30 and Quintin Pennells followed two spots behind in 60th as he crossed the finish line in 36:05.90. Hunter DeWall and Brayden Keller finished back-to-back in 63rd and 64th place, with times of 37:27.70 and 38:14.80 respectively.
The women's team did not record a score as a team, but they did have four individuals competing in the six-kilometer race, led by Trinity Albao-Cozad in 41st place with 31:01.20. Savannah Creech finished in 44th with a time of 31:43.70, followed by Laura Barrios Bardi in 53rd with a finishing time of 34.06.20. Chelsea Fuston concluded in 64th with a time of 39:02.40.
