Halloween Costume Contest at USAO Women’s Basketball on Oct. 31

CHICKASHA, Okla. – On Thursday, October 31 the USAO Athletic Department, in collaboration with USAO Visual and Performing Arts, will be hosting a costume contest as part of the festivities for the 2024-25 women's basketball season opener. 

The women's basketball team will host their season opener against No. 2 ranked University of Providence (Mont.) at 5:00 PM CT inside Drover Fieldhouse. 

To take part in the costume contest, there will begin registrations and judging from 3:30-4:30 PM CT in the Emerson Room, located in Austin Hall. Judging will begin at 4:00 PM and the top three entries will be recognized at halftime of the basketball game, prior to the winning group being announced.

• $500 to the winning student organization/team/department
• $250 scholarship to each individual of the group 
  • No more than three people per group.
• Must be present to win!

There will also be a follow up event at Art Wrecker in downtown Chickasha, beginning at 6:30 PM.
