USAO Basketball Camp: Summer 2026

COMING SOON IN JUNE: Registration is now open for the Summer 2026 USAO Drovers Basketball Camp (June 15-17, 2026).   

 

This camp will be run by the USAO Drovers Women's Basketball Staff/Program, offering instructions to students and athletes from elementary through middle school, and held at the Drover Field House on the campus of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Depending on grade and skill level, the structure of this camp is offered as a Session I (1st-4th Grade) and Session II (5th-8th Grade) format, over a 3-day period (June 15-17, 2026). Each day, Session I will start at 9am and last through 12pm, with check-ins beginning at 8:30am. At the conclusion of Session I, Session II will follow, lasting from 1pm through 4pm, with a 12:30pm check-in time. 

 

The focus of this camp will be on teaching the basic fundamentals of basketball while incorporating foundational principles of offensive and defensive teamwork. Other areas of emphasis will include individual skill instruction, position work (Guards, Forwards, & Posts), competitive drills, and high energy games. Each child can benefit greatly from this fun, positive environment of intentional training designed to sharpen skills and elevate confidence.
