Drovers Highlighted by Reser’s Win at the SAC Championship
WAXAHACHIE, Texas –Friday and Saturday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma competed at the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship and earned an eighth-place finish as a team.
The women's team was highlighted by Kyli Reser's first place finish in the hammer throw, with a heave of 39.48 meters. Reser also earned bronze in the discus (39.21 meters), as well as the shot put (11.61 meters). Kyra Willett placed fourth in the shot put (10.98 meters), followed by Alayna Nichols in eighth and Laura Barrios Bardi on 11th.
Kyra Willett also earned an eighth-place finish in the javelin throw (26.88 meters).
Tanyaradzwa Mutara finished in fifth in the long jump, with a leap of 4.90 meters.
