Drovers Place 9th at SAC Championship
SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - Saturday morning, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma women's cross-country team competed at the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship, hosted by John Brown University. The Drovers finished in seventh place as a team.
In the 6-kilometer race, Trinity Albao-Cozad led the way for USAO and placed in 48th with a time of 30:05.43.
Melany Bermudez, Tanyaradzwa Mutara, Kyli Reser, and Laura Barrios Bardi finished consecutively in 58th, 59th, 60th, and 61st, respectively. Bermudez crossed the line in 40:10.89, while Mutara and Reser finished within a second of each other (40:58.22 and 40:58.38). Barrios Bardi concluded in 41:50.85.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Drovers will now head into the indoor track and field season, beginning in January 2026.
